Diese Pufferwirkung hat jedoch Folgen: Rekordtemperaturen, marine Hitzewellen, Versauerung und Sauerstoffverlust bringen die Weltmeere an ihre Grenzen. In meinem Vortrag gehe ich auf die Ursachen, Messmethoden, Zukunftsszenarien und die m\u00f6glichen Auswirkungen auf marine \u00d6kosysteme ein.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Vortrag | Sa, 15:30 &#8211; 16:30 | Vidmarhallen<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><i><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8715 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.divefestival.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Portrait-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/i><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Thomas Fr\u00f6licher<\/strong> ist Professor an der Abteilung Klima- und Umweltphysik der Universit\u00e4t Bern. Mit seiner Forschungsgruppe Ozeanmodellierung untersucht er die Rolle des Ozeans im Klimasystem, wie der Klimawandel ihn ver\u00e4ndert und ob der Ozean zur L\u00f6sung des CO2-Problems beitragen kann. Er studierte Umweltnaturwissenschaften an der ETH Z\u00fcrich und promovierte in Physik an der Universit\u00e4t Bern. Anschlie\u00dfend forschte er mehrere Jahre als Postdoktorand an der Princeton University (USA).
